El Muro is an exclusive and unique eco-hotel, surrounded by vegetation and just a few steps from the ocean. We promote and create retreats, meetings, and events of art, sports, and ecology to create conscious experiences for everyone who wants to be part of them. It is the perfect getaway from routine and to reconnect with nature in a place out of the ordinary.
It is about 40 minutes from the colorful and cozy fishing village of Zihuatanejo, where you can find charming local markets and delicious street tacos, and only a 15-minute drive to Troncones and Saladita, known for surfing, fishing, and a relaxed atmosphere where there is a multitude of outdoor activities. If you are looking for a more remote adventure near the waves, you will love this location.
The hotel has comfortable private and shared rooms, a delicious restaurant serving local food, a yoga space, a palapa overlooking the ocean, an outdoor kitchen, a pool, hammocks, a spacious garden, and a variety of chill-out areas.

Turtle camp
Welcome to Campamento Majahua , your gateway to conservation and adventure in the heart of Troncones community. For over 5 years, we've been dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles, ensuring their survival for generations to come.
Our initiatives are entirely driven by passion and commitment, without any governmental subsidies. We offer a unique opportunity for environmental education and hands-on participation in turtle conservation.
This season, we're thrilled to report 125 nests, including the remarkable olive ridley and green turtle species. In just 20 days, these precious hatchlings will be released back into the wild, enriching our oceans and shores.
Led by our dedicated team, including project technical assistant Xóchitl Álvarez and project manager José Luis Álvarez, we strive for excellence in every aspect of our work. Last year alone, we released an impressive 140,000 hatchlings, and we're aiming to double that number this season.
At Majahua Turtle Camp, we believe in giving back to the community that hosts us. All expenses, from materials to labor, are graciously covered by El Muro Majahua hotel, as a token of gratitude for their support.
Join us in our mission by volunteering your time and talents. Whether it's helping with nest collection, releasing hatchlings, or even contributing your artistic skills, every effort counts towards our shared goal of environmental conservation.
Be part of the Majahua Turtle Camp experience today. Together, let's make a difference for our planet and its precious inhabitants.
